1977-1978: Campaign Director for the Missouri Botanical Gardens, located in St. Louis, Missouri. I was responsible for the fund raising activities of the Garden.
1976-1977: Director of Development at Historic New Harmony, Inc. Historic New Harmony, Inc. was a nonprofit organization created by the State of Indiana to recreate the cultural and educational legacy of New Harmony.
1974-1976: Associate Campaign Director for the United Way of Birmingham, Alabama. I was responsible for four of the twelve campaign units.
1973-1974: Taught high school in Dekalb County and 9th grade football coach.
1972-1973: Graduate student at Georgia State University.
1969-1972: Associate Campaign Director with United Way of Atlanta. I was responsible for raising one million dollars of the campaign goal of eight million.
